Project:Assessment of PSP options for Ogun State Govenment, Nigeria, for the water supply sector. Stoveland Consult and Deloute & Touch was working under the lead firm Babtie in this PPIAF financed project.

Content: Stoveland Consult carried out a water use study and willingness to pay study covering 6 urban areas in Ogun State.

Project:Mapping and survey of the poor living in the marginal areas in Belgrade, review solid waste handling in the poor areas, willingness to pay for solid waste services and potential impact of privatization of solid waste management in Belgrade.

Content:88 settlements were visited and assessed. In 14 of the settlements, household surveys were conducted on status of living conditios, housing, refuse handling, water supply and sanitation, employment, income/ expenditures etc. Many of the settlements contained Roma people who are closely linked to waste cycling and reuse and thus the anticipated reactions to proposed privatization of the solid waste management were assessed.

Project: Willingness to pay for Transport. Carry out a rapid survey or assess travelling preferences, uses, costs and willingness to pay for improved services.

Content: Interview with 500 travellers using busses, taxis, trains in and around Lagos City. Willingness to pay for inproved services were assessed.

Project:Prepare project proposals for slum upgrading for 9 slum areas and about one million people.

Content: Preparing three outputs, a plan for unban upgrading covering roads, drainage, water supply, sanitation, health clinics, schools, street lighting, footpaths, walkbridges, community halls, electricity transformers etc in accordance to the demand and priorities of the different communities. This included also brilghed areas housed in housed on stilts living over the lagoons. Their needs and priorities were very different from other groups.
